general info and faqs
Stained Glass
-
You shouldn’t need to do anything more than dust your piece with a soft cloth.
-
Your stained glass can be hung with the hooks that came with your piece. Just screw the hook(s) into the wood frame of your window and loop the chain through the hook. The hook is strong enough to hold your stained glass.
-
Don’t worry, I can get you the cost quickly. I don’t list them because I need to have Megan, Eugene’s best, super-special shipper of stained glass, weigh and measure a piece to determine how much a shipment will cost. And we won’t know exactly how much shipping will be until we know where it’s going. But trust me, you want Megan to pack your piece so that it arrives safe and sound. She knows how to do it. She’s that good.
-
Oh, please, don’t do that. You do not want another piece of glass flying towards your face if you have an accident. Let’s limit that possibility, okay?
-
Sorry, not anymore. But if you contact me I can certainly let you know who might be able to help you in your area.
-
No, I don’t have a kiln. I’ll leave that amazing craft to some other, pretty incredible, artists here in Eugene.
-
No, sorry.
Felted Buddies
-
Nearly everything you see is natural wool. Most have glass eyes that have a small metal stem, and some have a small core of polyfill. Some of the buddies are embellished with beads or tassels.
-
NO! Your dog or your cat may argue with me about this one, but your veterinarian certainly won’t. Yes, they are made of wool that won’t hurt your precious pet. However, Fluffy will make short work of your Felted Buddy—and I mean it will take her only moments to tear it to shreds—and its glass eyes might make her sick.
And this goes doubly, triply, for little kids and babies!! Please, please, please, do not give a Felted Buddy to anyone who might stick it in his or her mouth. They’re really cute, but they are not delicious.
-
No, sorry.
Bracelets
-
I measure all wrap bracelets from the point of the start of the button loop to the start of the button.
-
Real turquoise is a beautiful stone, but it costs too much for my projects, I’m sad to say. If you’re looking for real turquoise, I encourage you to seek out other vendors in New Mexico and Arizona. But be cautious and be sure to do your due diligence! Turquoise is becoming more precious and it’s hard to find at a modest price.

General

No, I will be at Eugene’s Saturday Market this summer and at its Holiday Market this fall, and I invite you to keep an eye on my Instagram for my schedule! But if you’re ready, you can always come by the studio to pick something up, as well.

Anything you can dream of! I’m a graphic designer, so I’m used to taking your ideas and turning them into reality. I love to do College logos; that’s my jam (as the kids say). But if you want a custom bracelet or felting, let’s talk. I also do custom dogs in felt. Bracelets in special sizes. Whatever you need!

No, not at this time.
